Is pricing per monitored server?
Professional and Evaluation include unlimited monitored servers. Free Edition monitors two database instances.
Is the Free Edition open source?
No. Free Edition is proprietary software licensed at no charge; its source code is not distributed as an open-source project.
What support comes with each edition?
Free Edition includes self-service support through the published FAQ. Professional includes email and ticketing support while Maintenance and Support is active. Professional customers may also submit feature-enhancement ideas for roadmap consideration; submission does not guarantee implementation or a delivery date. Is Professional a subscription?
No. Professional is a $1,599 license. From now through Cyber Monday. After that, the price returns to $1,599. It includes a perpetual 2.0.x baseline. Its included 14 months of Maintenance and Support adds every 2.x.x release published during that term. Each additional 12 months costs 25% of the then-current license price. Every entitled 2.x.x release may continue operating perpetually; 3.x is not included.
What happens when maintenance expires?
Purchased features continue operating perpetually on every 2.x.x release dated on or before the Professional license's signed support expiration. No data is deleted and an entitled release does not become read-only. A later 2.x.x release requires renewed Maintenance. Version 3.x is outside the 2.x license, and technical support requires current Maintenance and Support.
Does the application send telemetry to the vendor?
No. The product does not send usage telemetry, automatic crash reports, inventory, metrics, credentials, query text, schemas, or logs to the vendor.
What happens when an evaluation expires?
The installation retains its estate and becomes Free Edition. Two enabled instances remain monitored manually; additional instances are paused but remain visible, editable, and deletable. Bulk import, scheduled monitoring, alert delivery, and other paid capabilities stop until Professional is activated. If application storage was moved to another database server, its connection is archived, that database is left unchanged, and the application restarts using local SQLite.
Which databases can it monitor?
SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle. Each engine has native checks in addition to the shared estate workflow.
Where can the application repository run?
Every edition includes SQLite as the default application repository. Professional and Evaluation can move application data to SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
Does activation require internet access?
No. Signed license files are imported and verified locally. A paid license must first be imported within 90 days of issuance, and its signed support expiration must cover the application's embedded release date. Routine operation and license verification do not require a vendor connection.
